Working in NIRD&PR since 2008. Conducted research and consultancy projects sponsored
by NFDB, State fisheries Depts, relating to fisheries and agriculture subjects
in respect of planning, monitoring and evaluation. Organised training programmes
for officers working in govt and autonomous bodies on practical aspects of
operating M&E in their organisations.

Prior to joining in NIRD&PR, worked as Deputy Director of Fisheries in State Fisheries
Department,
Govt of AP. Served about 26 years in different cadres. Associated
with number of international projects funded by DFID, FAO, UNDP, BOBO etc.
for the development of fisheries and also in implementation of various schemes
meant for development and welfare of the fishers and fish farmers.

in Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and West Bengal States and also case study on Participatory
Fisheries Stock Assessment of mud crab (Scylla serrata) fishery in Coringa mangroves,

Currently engaged in preparation of Inland Fisheries Development plan for Telangana
State and other activities mandated for Centre for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation.

visit to countries like Malaysia and Australia under Sea Turtle Conservation Programme
of UNDP (2001), and Egypt on Fish Culture Development under the programme of Afro-Asia

Trainings Conducted
- Conducted training programmes on capacity building of rural development practitioners
(Officers/NGOs) on Coastal Zone management, Sustainable Coastal Livelihoods, Formulation
and Appraisal of projects for RD programmes, etc.
- In the backdrop of different agro-climatic conditions, the training programmes conducted
for Assam fish farmers has made significant contribution in adoption of specially
designed technical and managerial interventions and promotion of sustainable fish
farming in Assam State.
- Capacity building of officers of sponsoring agencies like NFDB and NDDB on Planning,
Monitoring and Evaluation (PME)
